Georgia Biomass now ENplusA1 certified

RWE has now certified their pellet plant in Georgia.

Since 2011, RWE Innogy is pelleting  wood in Waycross , in Georgia, USA. Now it has got certificate ENplus A1 by the European Pellet Council , the umbrella organization of European national pellet associations. The award certifies that the company pellet production is done according to the  requirements of the European retail market.

The wood pellet plant is the largest of its kind with a production capacity of 750,000 tons and operated by Georgia Biomass , a subsidiary of RWE Innogy . By certifying the company now strengthen its position in the commercial and residential heating markets of several European countries, including Italy, Germany and Denmark.
