A day-on-day increase of 3€/m3  m to 649 €/m3 Wednesday saw the Platts T2 ethanol assessment move to its highest level since September 24, 2013 as supply into Rotterdam remained low.

Platts quoted two traders who told that the price increase  is supply rather than demand driven. There is just no cargo available the second told.  The combination of limited imports and closed European production is the reason.
