Taurus Energy AB in cooperation with CIMV and Dyadic for cellulocic ethanol
Taurus Energy AB is undertaking a large-scale commercial development project involving ethanol production. The research is being conducted, and has been conducted, by leading international scientists and has resulted in 9 patents so far.
Taurus Energy is providing a yeast technology for production of ethanol from forestry and agricultural waste. The method, which is protected by 13 internationally-patented microbiological processes.
Compagnie Industrielle de la Matière Végétale (“CIMV”) a pioneer company in developing processes for the production of biofuels and bio-based chemicals has announced that it has signed a collaboration agreement to commercialize second generation biofuel and biobased chemical technology with Dyadic International, Inc. (“Dyadic”) (OTCQX: DYAI), a global biotechnology company. Taurus Energy AB cooperates with both CIMV and DYADIC in developing second generation biofuel technology, in where Taurus will provide the yeast.
CIMV has a patented method of separating the thre main components celluloce, lignin and hemicelluloce in fibers. CIMV then produce a high quality lignin called “Biolignin”. Dyadic anticipates supplying enzymes for CIMV demonstration plant planned for 2015.
