Momentum is building. This week, after years of innovation and investment, the second of four new advanced biofuel plants is coming online in Iowa.

This is good news for our economy and our environment.

This innovative, first-of-its-kind plant will turn corn kernel fiber into cellulosic ethanol. Cellulosic ethanol is a low-emission, sustainable biofuel produced from agricultural waste. Blending that ethanol into our fuel will help to reduce our dependence on foreign oil — and make our air cleaner.
