Bioplastics: Perstorp AB invests in the growing field of εpolycaprolactone.

Perstorp expected demand for PCL continue to grow by over 20 percent per year for the foreseeable future. As part of its growth strategy, the company plans to make significant investments in order to develop bioplastics and bio-products.
Investments include a pilot plant, which is already running in the UK Warrington. Increased technical resources and a new laboratory in Swedish Perstorp will also becomes clear from January 2015.

Overall, this will help customers develop their businesses faster, shorten the time to market and develop new products and formulations for new bioplastapplikationer, the company writes in a press release.
